That first wave of tests and anxiety about succeeding is over. So to celebrate I stenciled up most of the campus with piano-key-shooting pistols. Sorry no pics, I rode solo tonight so I was focusing more on not getting busted than taking portraits with the art. but on the other hand, I do have pics of the latest art iswar installation in downtown:

Samuel Francis is an artist born in Miami whose work concentrates on two fundamental ideas: That art is everywhere, it is up to us find it and bring it to the attention of others; and that art is for everyone, and should not be confined to the inside of an art gallery. Urban Street Art Gallery is a piece that utilizes Samuel's strong conceptualization derived from these ideas. Urban Street Art Gallery guides the audience through a landscape littered with everyday clutter within the city to create a stunning visual vocabulary of creation amid chaos. Artworks are primarily sculptural elements, but also include drawing, performance, and painting. It is intended to inspire the viewer to have a heightened awareness of his/her surroundings. Just as with a physical gallery, the Urban Street Art Gallery will expand and change as new pieces are added.
